2023 Fete and Vintage Fayre


For many years Shareshill Vintage Fayre was a regular fund-raising event for Shareshill church. Sadly due to the of active volunteers dwindling, and the Covid pandemic, 2017 was the last church-organised event.

Saturday 17th of June 2023, saw the welcome return, after six years, of the Shareshill Summer Fair and Classic car show. Twelve months of planning and organising by our Shareshill Events Committee culminated in a wonderful event.

We featured an array of Games, Craft stalls, food outlets, and entertainment for all ages.

	Our events arena also saw a brilliantly funny production from the ‘Showtime Entertainment Group’ of “The Mad Hatters ‘Tay’ Party”

We featured an array of Games, Craft stalls, food outlets, entertainment for all ages including the ever popular ‘Punch and Judy’ show. There were also Displays from Shareshill‘s own Alpaca farm, and Fit Kids dance group, followed by a vocal set from our own Michelle Cox.
... and of course not forgetting over 30 classic cars and vehicles and a fully functional 97 year old Steam Roller.

All in all, a fantastic day was had by everyone attending, thanks to all of the much needed volunteers who made it all possible and the Naval Cadets from ‘Training ship LEGIO’ who stewarded the event.
